The Islamic Mary discusses Maryam in the Qur’an, Islamic tradition and Christian-Muslim relations. The podcast draws from my current book on the topic and my research on the Bible and Qur’an. The interviews are also published on the A Common Word podcast which focuses on Islam and Interreligious Studies. The Podcasts are available on all major podcast directories, such as Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
For a teaching resource, I would recommend the episodes “Why am I Starting This Podcast?” which discusses the origins of the show and personal stories related to it. I would also recommend for students Maryam as Model and Maryam as Daughter, Maryam as Teacher and Maryam and Intimacy.
